Our Story

Harvey Woods was built around a simple idea: solar should be straightforward—engineered correctly, installed cleanly, permitted properly, and supported for the long haul. We started by building and testing systems and workflows focused on real-world performance in the Northeast, where weather, roof complexity, and electrical constraints demand higher standards.

As the company grew, we built a tight, field-proven process: design → permitting → install → inspection → monitoring and service. Along the way, we’ve earned national recognition and credibility—including a 2022 Citizens Bank Small Business Community Champion Award, BBB accreditation in New Hampshire, a Mayor’s Award in Portsmouth, NH, and Best in Class at the MIT Energy Hackathon (NESEA Challenge).
